Yo,
I tried something a bit unusual for me this time, and I came up with this.

I still need to figure out something for the background, plus I'm not so keen about the colors and how they interact. This is exactly the thing that a more experienced pixel artist could help with I guess!

I dunno about a busy BG or even any at all. The bot is a graphic shape of its own and can be its own thing.
I think the simpler the better on the BG and lots of focus on the materials its made from.
