Optional bonus challenge: Use the preview as your avatar for the challenge week. Keep in mind that Avatars are a maximum of 64 x 64.

I have a feeling that if FrankiePixelShow does this challenge, he won't have a bit of trouble pulling off disgusting mutations all over his face.

Indeed. He was the first thing I thought of when I read the challenge.

I'm not happy with my current entry. Both with idea and realisation.
So I thought i need something else, something more positive. And then I saw Chuck Berry's antology album cover
This is very rough wip, will be glad to see some advices about color choice and maybe anatomy.

You mean this challenge here or last week's?
If last weeks challenge, thats automated so we can't add any manually once deadline passes :(

@Finlal, good question.
Imo, it does not follow the spirit of the challenge being a mutated portrait which implies human even if the challenge is no humans allowed.
Ironically this challenge on one of its early drafts was a half bird portrait >.<

@Finlal, I found it funny too because the bird portrait idea was deemed a bad choice because maybe nobody would actually make one or it was a silly idea

I messed around with this for a bit, but it's not really up to my standard so I won't be turning it in and it's too late for a total redesign. Anyway, here's a little thing I ended up calling "I Was Daimoth"



And no, I'm not bald. That's just the point at which I decided to nix the piece.
