I call it The 4-Letter Collab

The objective of this collab is to pixel the sections in 1 by 1 to come up with a 4 letter word that actually exists. There are 16 squares that means 4 sections for one letter.

Non-isometric.

There is no pallete. Will explain in the rules.

The maximum dimensions are on the canvas that you can view bellow. 

People will take the picture and draw their piece, post it for the next person.

Rules: (Mwuahahahhaa!)

• You can only do one section at a time. (wait for another person to do a section and only then can you make another)
• Must do the sections in order (1, 2, 3, 4 do I need to go on?)
• You may do ANY style of the part of the letter but make sure it makes sence and isn't too complex so that the next person can't figure out your shape...

To clear things up I made a quick sketchy example.

 

Just a little hint: You CAN start out with doing it isometric, that way it could be pretty interesting and challenging to pixel in isometric-different-style letters.

I'm a little confused by the project honestly.  Anybody can just start on a letter they want?  How do you keep it organized? 

Yep yep. Here are a few options for anybody that wants to start on the next letter.

U (Fuel and umm.. yeah!)

O (Foil, Folk, Font, Fork etc)

It's pretty easy the drawing would be the hard part for me but I'm managing so far  I hope :P

 

I would want it to be an existing word since that is one of the main goals of this collab. (seems like only two people are participating though ) Besides, what's the point of making random letters? If nobody is going to take spot 6 then I guess i'll continue the pattern of me being next. I'll edit it when I'm done.

"We look on as the members of pixeljoint slowly form a four letter word. Can they bend from the infamous four-letter f-word before it is too late? will it end up as "funk" because of a gross misspelling? Will the second letter even be completed as a "U"? Sweet! I come back and what do I see? My collab going from 2 people participating to almost getting done. Well I'm not back officially - still in Kazakhstan chilling with my dad. I'll leave that last number to someone else. ;)

Too bad I didn't contribute, but anyways, what do you think of making every next tile have 'transition' from the previous one, i.e. not have such abrupt borders between the tiles.

aight, sorry for not being clear:
I meant that for every next tile, the artist has to make a 'transition' from the previous tile to his own, so that the different parts seem to 'flow' into one another.
