So I can make anything I want as long as it's new and has at least 8 colors with 4 of them coming from that list?

I don't think I will have time to enter but I made a palette using 4 of the Pantones; 16 colour total.

I like palette challenges

Like always, I'm struggling with the lighting. Ugh... I'll probably have to look up a ref for this.

Portrait's looking fine - melancholy's seeping through. The background seems to be the killer for this challenge, throughout the entries so far. I mean, its hard enough to make a coherent image from this weird color combination, let alone filling in the frame for the composition, since there's no opacity allowed. I kinda cheated and filled in my fruit's surrounding with the default background gray.

I think it looks good so far. I would add some darker values in the face to show form better. Other than that, you're all set.

Oh wow. I misunderstood the rules and just used the palette provided. I ought to be more careful!

You guys are incredible - I really hope I'll be able to 'get good' one day.

I guess I'll keep trying :p

Oh, and at 4x scale, etc.

Its not poor :/
The walk cycle can be improved in your next walk animation so it does not seem so much a glide as a step.

Nevertheless, you did a pretty good job. Very psychedelic!

Ah, yes. If Motrox is going for an impressionistic piece, I guess values would be of lesser importance.

Nah, it looks nice :) Like jalonso already mentioned, you just need to improve the walk cycle.

Worked on this throughout the day, still unfinished and probably won't be able to submit it/finish it in time but still, was fun!
