This drawing confuses me in many ways. To begin with, is that the sky or the ceiling? I suppose sky, but it doesn't really read like that.

At second,w where does one find such an alley that has 3 walls of exactly the same height? I'd expect the ones on the side to go up higher, or to see edges of roofs.

Scale is confusing as well. The brick size suggests that a person could easily look over the walls, yet the door size suggests that these walls are 7 meters high!

At last the shading.. there is shadow on both sides of the floor, I am confused how light enters this dark space.


I'd recommend you to find a couple of reference photos from alleys that you like, and mix them up into one artwork, or even base the whole thing on one. Share the references you find here, and we can help you draw those!
