Hey there! We are looking for a Game Artist to join us. You will be part of a two man team who will create a mobile game that will rock the mobile game charts.

About the role

These are the things you'll be doing as Game Artist at Pixel Squad:

- Work on the development of a visual style, design and overall look of projects
- Create beautiful characters, assets and environments to be rolled out into our games
- Develop visual concepts and ideas
- Contribute with artwork ideas toward communities and forums
- Get involved in the look and feel of further projects including animation, community and marketing
- Support team in game design, working closely with the other half of the team!
- Reach your full potential with 2D, 3D and/or UI art for mobile games

You will be doing way more than just art. As you will most likely be the only artist in a team of two developers, your ideas and opinions will be highly valued as long as you can produce graphics and assets yourself. But that's the fun part, right?

These are the things we would like to see in our talented and passionate Game Artist:

-Experience with traditional art and illustration techniques
-Experience with Adobe Photoshop
-Capability to independently create concept sketches and maybe even final renderings/tweaks and animation
-Ability to create a variety of production quality, 2D and 3D art
-Proven experience with 3D software e.g. Maya / 3DS Max a plus
-Experience with Unity 3D
-Appreciation and understanding of User Interface design
-Previous experience in game development and game art

We're not looking for just an artist, we're looking for a Game Artist who loves, plays, lives and breathes games. Ultimately your heart beats for game development. You will need to be a generalist in the sense that you should be able to independently design, execute and make your assets work in the game you're working on.

If you are still reading this and we've managed to spark your interest, put together a resume and send over some of your previous work. You don't need to tell us how good you are; your work should speak for itself. We'd be happy to have you join our company, and have you work together with the creators of Crime Coast.

Why you will love it here

Independence and a lack of bureaucracy that clears the way for your to do the best work possible.
Strong compensation. Put smiles on the faces of millions of people who will play the games you work on.
Work with a kind and humble team.
