Ah, I suppose you're right about the roof. I did it like that first too, but it didn't look quite right.

Boy ohhh boy, you sure got that absolutely right indeed, Night... in fact, since 2019 had just begun a few weeks ago, we are really most definitely on the move in filling up more and more completed new tiles especially in recent days, making much more efficiently optimized use of your ever-magnificent palette already.  Yes, I am truly with you on that one, in quite fact!!!  !!

Speaking of optimizations, ladies and gentlemen, remember I said initially wayyyy back on page #3 of this very thread that my last update to Tile #64 was my final one?  Well, it turns out in a strangely odd way that after I found out even more and more closely than ever about how Night’s Equpix15 palette actually works, it truly turns out that I *still* had some work to do in sprucing up the details and fine-tuning my use of this palette some more in terms of the needed optimizations to my own tile there — especially on the living prehistoric tribal tar goddess herself, too... tribal makings and all!  After all was done and ready, here now is the latest early-2019 update of it indeed for you, everybody:

...and Gecimen, could you please update your wonderfully superb current ISO-collab map with my very latest improvement to Tile #64?  Thank you ever so much in advance!!    And furthermore, you and s.g.m. both did such a rather most spectacular job on creating a lot of the many very latest new tiles that took place right since the 2019 New Year began; my congratulations deeply to the both of you on that successfully!!!  !!!

As I am still trying to get a new computer in the possible coming months, I want to personally wish all of you a QUITE FANTASTIC New Year indeed, and again, thank you all so very, very much for your time this brand-new week!!!  ;)

Long time no ISO-tile! What an incredible transformation this collab has done! So many wonderful tiles.

I would like to claim #38!

@sgm; we really needed an egypt tile, I couldn't think of how but you nailed it.

@adigun; thank you, we will always have new iso collabs running, so if you can't get your new computer in time, you'll catch up with the next.

I'm a bit clueless on how to make the first sl*g Brother's arm/hand positions readable though, I want to have him scratching his chin with his right hand while the other one just hangs around carrying a club (which is also WIP, I don't like how it looks right now) and of course make sure it's all iso, but at this moment I'm having a bit of a hard time conveying the former with what few pixels I get to place without making the hand too big. Any tips? Thanks!
EDIT: Why is the word before "Brothers" getting censored? As far as I know that's not supposed to be inappropriate, it's from a kid-friendly cartoon

Still waiting for advice and ideas on this, thanks! Also I've been tightened a little by college so there hasn't been an update, but hopefully I'll make progress in the coming days.

@eggy; first off we already have one sl*g brothers tile in the collab at the moment (tile 47 by nevercreature). I'm not really sure 2 of them are necessary :) Maybe you'd want to go for Captain caveman instead?

Secondly, your character is too small, if you want to make him readable, you should scale him up to the collab scale.

Great tile Sgm.

@everyone, as we're closing to the end, I'll be cleaning up reservations more often to give people enough tiles to pick. Please at least PM me or post here something (preferably a WIP but not a must) time to time if you'd like to keep your reservation.

I've unfortunately gotten sick a few days ago and am still sick so there hasn't been any progress, but I definitely would like to continue doing my tile!
Also I never even noticed there was already a tile with the two cavemen, my bad! Captain Caveman does sound like a good alternative though :)

@Gecimen; Yeah, this is a real turn around, but I couldn't resist not to pay due respect to the great characters in the "Ice Age" franchise. Now, it's left to do the same with the excellent characters in "The Croods" (if anybody is interested).
Now, I'll take #60.

Not that you should in feel obligated in any way to make use of it, but I had that tile a while back and even put together a WIP for it. It might help for some ideas or it might not. Frankly I was struggling somewhat to find a nice way to do the roof that was visually interesting and consistent with nearby tiles myself. Your current WIP seems to solve that problem just fine though and looks great so far.

@Irena; I could do one more but it would be unfair to sgm, as he started a few months later than me :) So I'll only do more tiles if the collab goes stagnant (which I hope not).

@Dobermann; looks beautiful!

I'll take #59 instead of #60. I need more (adequate) space and I want to make the Space Odyssey scene which Axolotl has never finished in tile #82. I hope that's okay...

Some wip:

@DoberMann, a lot better in terms of the alignment. You might want to rethink the triangular area in the front, and make it a bit lighter.

@Irenaart, keep in mind the tile above you is mine.

On your Tile #51 that you have just successfully cleared, Night, that is yet another QUITE brilliantly outstanding piece of work indeed, as you did such a most magnificent job on all the colors as well as on the splendidly-coiled, poison-fanged giant water snake that is just about ready to strike at any sudden moment now... love that as well as the ever-foaming waves that you gave the water, too!!  Bravo for you especially, as I totally agree with Gecimen here on that entire tile of yours there indeed!!!  !!!

Now as for Tile #80 you have just now chosen to create, since it is right next door to my already-completed Tile #73, do remember my outlined female character shadow that I left there as an idea/inspiration, please, for important reference purposes:

Thank you ever so much once again, Night, as I am SURELY rather confident you will do splendidly wonderful on that next current tile of yours; keep up the truly phenomenal work once again as usual!!!  !!

Thanks Gecimen and Adigun. :)

Done with 80,

Also a small update to tile 71, to make the bridge that was created more apparent.

@Esven, I'd suggest you to use the black a little more sparingly (particularly on the figures) and only in key areas, since the shading/values seem a bit off.

As for your very newly-completed Tile #80, Night, it shows such a splendid group of men and women gathering themselves together by the campfire as they set themselves up for an important meet-up of sorts... and perhaps to get to know each other a whole lot better in the process, too.  Such a rather damn wonderful tile and then some quite indeed, as you have successfully managed to fit an astounding TEN (10) people into a single finished tile alone... and what a masterfully TOP-TIER new pixel-art it is really is, also!!    And you even managed to make that female character shadow of mine a whole lot better than I expected... THANK YOU most especially for that as well!!!  !!

And about your update to Tile #71 now, it is quite a splendidly significant one, as you have surely made the bridge a whole LOT more convincing than ever, resulting in a ton more depth and definition... especially in the important little rocky slope formations that connect to the rest of the bridge as it smoothly leads downward right into the snowy grass sections below.  Superb update indeed, for sure!!!  ;)

Overall then, you are quite an outstandingly first-rate pixel artist in the best-possible way, Night, and we are so very proud of you all the way... as truly do I!!!  !!
