CHALLENGE: First Art Re Start

Show everyone how your pixel chops have developped since you have started your Pixel Joint journey. Take the first artwork submitted to your gallery and do it all over again, but better.

I understand that someone's first artwork might be too difficult, too big, too time consuming for one week, or the opposite -  it is not interesting or challenging enough. In that case it is allowed to choose the second one.

If you think that todays you would draw the same thing on a bigger or smaller canvas - change it for the better. If you find your past colour choices terrible - update the palette. If nowadays you are better at palette control - make it smaller. If it was a portrait of your boyfried, but you have a hotter boyfried now - draw the new one in a similar way. Anything from what this past artwork was capturing, that had changed for the better (no matter if it's your pixel skills or your topic choices), need to be reflected in this new version, but it still have to be obvious that this is a new approach at that past artwork and not a new, completely unrelated piece.

Link the chosen (first or second) artwork in the description of your challenge entry, to make our lifes easier.

Canvas size: Exactly as your chosen artwork, or better.
Colours: Exactly as your chosen artwork, or smaller.
Transparency: As your chosen artwork.
Animation: As your chosen artwork.

CHALLENGE RULES

• Participants have until this upcoming Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) to submit their entry (strict). Don't forget to check the 'Submit to weekly challenge' checkbox.
• Only new pixels allowed.
• Open to all members.
• Posting WIPs in this thread or in new threads in the WIP section is highly encouraged, but ONLY SUBMIT YOUR FINAL ART.

CHALLENGE JUDGING

• Every Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) the previous week's entries are judged.
• Every week a new voting poll will be posted for previous week's entries.
• Winner announced the following week.

CHALLENGE PRIZES/GOODIES

• Top three finishers will receive an award displayed in your PJ gallery profile for all to see and envy.
• Top finisher gets to suggest a future week's challenge. If you're a winner and you wish to submit your idea, send a message to Gecimen.

I understand that the reason could be that you was not very confident about your animating skills back then, but you are now? If that so, this would make sense, and be a valid request, however I did not included such occasion in the rules: "Animation: As your chosen artwork." To allow that, I would have to edit the rules, but this would not be fair at this point, when many users already have started their submissions and some have already finished. Therefore you would have to try to update your artwork by any other possible means, than adding frames of animation. I'm sorry if this is not a satisfactory answer.
