Pixel Joint Forum: World Map

This is an entry I made for a mission at GMClans. http://www.gmclans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4621

I wouldn't consider myself a pixel artist in any way, so I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.  However, seeing as how I can always resubmit my entry, I want to improve it.

I definitely want to re-do both the land and sand textures, and possibly add some mountains.

Any ideas on ways I can improve it?  :)

	Water is great, but the desert and snow spots should be less in contrast. Also, hue-shift and add more colors to the land
