I've been seeing alot of pixel work lately, and have seen alot of familiar or relative styles and this in itself sparked an idea. Why not start up a pixel art show series? It's possible, and wouldn't be to hard because it wouldn't require a new plattete for every frame. So after conspiring this idea I thought I would introduce this to all the members here to see if they would be interested in teaming up to create the first pixel art show series, before taking the idea any farther.

Though before allowing just anyone to join their will be a small pre-liminary task for all interestees to do before-hand so that there won't be a mix of widely diversed skilled work. So, the pre-liminary task would be this. Create a 300 x 300 scene on either a lake view, city view, arial (sky) view, or a forest view (There is no color/colour limit.). The scene doesn't have to be animated, but by preference it should as it will display your skills in animation and if this project kicks off then it will determine your ranking and position among the development team. Now all entries should be hosted here or through a 3rd party image hosting service, and a link an explaination about the image and description about any hidden or specific details should be sent in a PM to me or posted here. Now note, if this project does manage to assemble a start there is already a short plot that I've already assembled that we can either scrap or assemble by an opinion based vote. In addition if the condition calls for it, a small community site can be assembled in accordance with the project's demands. Good luck, and put all of your skill into this, it's the making of a new pixel art era.

apparently, you sir, are a moron.  not take that long??  i am pretty speedy at animations, but it take me awhile to make animations of the scale and complexity you are speaking of.  judging from your meager gallery and lack of participation here, you wouldnt realize that.  pixel art takes work, well, quality work anyways.

and what makes you think you can come in here and break all the guidelines we have set?  we have a place to suggest this sh*t...  the people whe can start something like this and need be treated like sh*t on the bottom of a shoe, have been here for along time and people know.

If you plan to start a "new pixel era" it would be good to see YOUR skills first, wouldn't it.  Seriously, anyone can come here and say "make a one million pixel with animation, oh and just SKILLED PEOPLE PLS", but this is not that this subforum is about. Usually the collab starter actually shows something that the others complete/continue. People don't come here and say: ok everybody show me your skills to see if I can accept you in my AMAZING COLLAB! And you are not being realistic at all.
