Hi pixel artists,

My name is Elijah Alcantara from the Philippines and I worked many months on a personal project http://villagelocal.com , it is basically a free web page service similar to geocities, blogger, etc. The entire thing is built in a Typo3 CMS. What makes this different is that it can list down all sites hosted and users can put up their own house images, I have also created a 'pixeltown' so I guess this is the best place to ask for help. I've tried pixel art but I guess I was never any good at it

As mentioned before, this is a 'personal' project and so there isn't much funds alloted for this sadly :( I don't belong in a company and it is currently managed by just 1 person - me.

So I'm looking for the following:

• any isometric houses/buildings
• pixel-themed psd or html template designs to add up to the set of open source templates I already setup. 
• maybe pixel character designs? there is currently no official mascot yet but the house and penguins
  
• a tile image for the town map, each house will be 228x202 png/gif to fit it.
  

I'm currently using free - open source icons and images and some free (but requires a link) images. But a lot of them doesn't fit the site well, and the smallpixel town village could use some 'real' pixel art.

There will be a map soon, all these 228x202 images will be joined up together to form a small 'town'. Very similar to http://www.kennethfejer.com/isocity/ or pixeldam


For [Paid] , well, I was thinking of buying some rights at istock or other stock photos, but a lot of them do not serve up pixel arts so ... if you could charge me a small amount to use your images that'd be great. (hopefully cheaper *sad puppy look* )

[Unpaid] donation images are well accepted! If you already have images ready and willing to make me use the rights to put them up on the site, I will personally put your name & website or a link to your artwork in the 'artists' page, if you have signed up I will also transfer your own site to the 'premier' pages.
