Looks pretty good so far. Are you going to do the whole camel, or just the head?

Hot damn you're getting good at this pixel art business. Only crit at the moment is that his eyes don't match the perspective of his head. They're more or less facing forward whereas the head is almost in profile. I think some foreshortening of the far eye is in order, along with moving both of them east a bit.

Addressed the perspective problem with the eyes, as well as a similar problem with the lip cleft, and miscellaneous shading issues (rim speculars again ).

A few things specifically to note: In a couple of spots, like the top of the bridge of the nose (where it starts to meet the eyes), and the bulb of the nose, it seemed like you were just sort of phoning in because you didn't really know how to shade it. I could be entirely wrong, if so, tell me to jump in a lake, but in cases like that it would really be of benefit to consult references rather than just guessing. Rant over.

Also, with this sort of perspective, the nose would logically obscure the far eye just a little. It's important for defining clear levels of depth.

Just let me know if there's anything else in the edit that needs further clarification.

SHMUPDATEH!

A bit yes, and i have absolutely no idea what so ever on earth what the heck it is....now that i think of it i dont even think im gonna include it in this piece, its the camel im more worried about right now :D ;O

Totally decided to actually do the full camel after enough people suggesting it. Having trouble shading the first hump...

Maybe that one leg should be lil bit darker. And maybe make it thin. Now it is kinda fat.

First I'd like to say: My, how much you have improved. Great work!

Now for critique...

Hm, not sure I'm liking those back legs. The expression on his face and the position of his front legs makes him look "refined" or "sophisticated" if you get what I mean. The Back legs give the impression of a clumsy creature due to the wide stace and spindly legs.

 

The humps. I think the darkest color coming into the shade is causing the problem.

I beleive his back left leg needs to be several pixels longer.

The front leg attaches to the body a little odd. In that there is no real shoulder in there. The hump is fine but the shading on the hump needs to be adjusted to show the shoulder. Here is a pic that might make it clearer.

I love the face though.

Looks a lot better without it, I still think the shininess on it looks a bit odd, and also the dots on it's face, but that's not very noticeable from afar, otherwise, it's looking good.
