it's my first attempt at any pixel art, still got to add window panes to windows.

You've still got a LOT to add, actually.   Have you ever seen a building like this?  Without any trim or roof or door frames and with only one window in the back corner?

Find a reference of a building you like, and pixel that.  Right now you've just made a very boring and generic looking brick box. 

It's not bad for your first try, but don't let "I'm new to this" be your excuse for not trying something more interesting and more intricate.

Yeah I know I've got to add a roof and windows and doors, path and grass. I just meant I'm not leaving the window like that, I need to add glass.
