I think i've gone through atleast 10 iterations of this sprite base, fully shaded and colored, but just as im putting the final touches on, i start noticing its VERY anatomically wrong.  Every time.  Im so frustrated with this atm.

I know this is basic, and someone will probably tear me a new one for posting something so grossly early, but I dont want to have to start from scratch again because i missed a line/size issues etc. etc.

I've pretty much chucked all of the old bases/completed sprites, this one is (hopefully) going to be used in a 2d RPG. /surpise.  So im trying to stick to the 3 1/4 Overh iead View.  While its a challenge to draw something strait on, compensating for the angles (i think) whats throwing the whole peice off.

I've broken it back down to this sprite base, please, if you can render any assistance/advice as to how this is made, or how i would go about making it appear correct, i'd be forever in your service.  Keep in mind, i'd like to Paperdoll these later, so the bigger the body parts, the better.

It's no secret, im going to a SoM/FF/LLTP look, in 32x64

Well, the WIP section is the right place to start looking for help!

As it's a stylized piece I'd think that there'd be less consideration for anatomy needed.  I would lose the indentations at the knees, elbows and ankles and use selective outlining (selout) to indicate those areas instead.

I'm crap at anatomy so that's really about the best I can offer.  Best of luck!

Ok i did a edit of your sprite to help you get it right.

Notice that i don't use the outline to define as much,
You can use the shading to define the muscles.
you seem to make the muscles too sharp and
gave him a super V body shape, unless he is
supposed to be VERY strong you should give him
a normal persons frame then define the muscles
with shading. Notice that i left him with the v shaped
body but not as much.

Also notice how i made the hue shift less easy to notice
but you can still tell i hue shifted.

and notice how i used a cool color purple to out line
because your hue shifting into a warm color and you
want to use the warm cool colors to add more depth
as possible to the sprite because it's so small.
