Hello, newb here.. Now now theres no need to start throwing things or show me the door just yet.. You were ALL newbs once.. *rant over* :P

So I have a book on the way to show me how to make games.. and figured that this was how I wanted to do them vs my usual vectoring. I decided to have a go at one of the Pixel Joint templates and have gotten this far..

The only thing that bothers me is that I don't really know how to make the curves very well. And that I did not want any of it to look like anyone elses though I did make everything in the template by hand other than the pieces of the template itself..

Input is welcome, if you are going to crit please give a reason why and what I may have done to better it not just a -that looks crap- or even a link to something that might help me.  I am and have been looking through the tutorials :)
