Hello every one.

I'm working on a other logo in pixel art:

Its very raw at the moment.

can someone give me tips about the shading i have trouble to make it look  smooth. The shadowing of the last one was a little to edgy. Can someone give me some tips how to continue?

I want to use 16 - 32 colours. I used 5 to do this...

Any feedback or comment is appreciated.

PS: I really enjoy this pixel community, thx at this place to the creators and participants of all this. I rediscover the feelings i had when i was hacking around on my uncles amiga! It feels great

It looks lovely. I don't have any specific critique, but having looked at your other one, I suggest focusing on antialiasing this time around.

As long a wildstyle goes, it doesn't have to be readable, but in this case I have no clues at all. It looks like spaceship, but doesn't look like there is any text. Is there meant to be any?

About smoothness - I'd say that with good design it looks smooth without additional effects or anti-aliasing. Look at eBoy's effities:
http://hello.eboy.com/eboy/category/object/global-tags/effitie/
They
1. have form simple enough to be solid and complex enough to look interesting;
2. don't use any anti-aliasing because most angles are 90, 45 and 30 (2-pixel stairs) degrees.
I'd say - focus on design (main form), and shadows will be obvious. Better use smaller canvas to keep everything under control.

In existing piece you can try to use darker grey on bottom sides which have lesser angle to bottom line of the screen; and lighter on those hich have bigger angle. That way you could show where the side bends without using outline.
