To be completely honest...it's terrible lineart. The magazine is smaller than the pistol grip, there is no gas tube, the foregrip furniture is way too long, the receiver somehow smelted itself into the stock, the front sight block is tiny...I could write an essay on how many errors there are.
Here's what I suggest; find a good high resolution picture of an AK, shrink it down to size, and trace it. Edited by Xamllew - 09 November 2009 at 9:53am |

I would -definitely- not recommend tracing. tracing is a horrible tool for learning how to draw.
I suck at guns myself, but yeah, that doesn't look quite right. Definitely have a reference picture to work from (and show us so we can see it too) and draw from that. if you already were, try shrinking it down but just draw it while looking at the small version rather than tracing. Once you post a reference your working from we'll (or at least I will, others may know a lot about guns) be able to help you a lot more. |

Tip to use other then tracing, i resized it till it fit my screen, i measured the dimensions in pixels, and decided to make the whole thing 5x smaller, it's not perfect, but i didn't spend too much time on it.
