I now that almost everything I have posted in the past, who knows how long, has been crap. I wanted to basically start over.

This is a piece I am making for PixelDam. It is a local recording company where I live and they are where my friend and his band record there cd's.

I will post updates very ofton. Any c+c would be awsome. Just so you know, I am no where near done.

If you want to check out my friends band, go to,

http://www.barelyblind.com

(sidenot) There are actually about 30 or so wip's of this saved on my computer right now, but I am resaving all the ones im going to post on Pixel Joint as

pixeljoint_1, pixeljoint_2, and so on.

Say anything you like or don't like about it. All of it helps me.

Thanks, Jake.

the building itself is very blocky... I know it's hard not to do that with iso, but try to build up on it somehow. Something on the roof aside from the sign. Also, try playing around with the text a bit. This is a preview of things to come so I'll leave the rest of my comments until there's more to comment on (ie. colours, textures, etc)

Can't wait!

Yeah I agree with Pixelblink on the text. It looks too plain. Add some style to the text of make that text on the side of the building like graffiti. Cause it look's werid just on the building like that.

the text on the right side of the building is not regular, it uses different sizes in the same word, this needs to be dixed, i suggest that you draw two template lines in iso form and then place the text in the middle to ensure that it remains the same size all the way along.

also...

just wondering why a recording studio would have an unloading door... maybe to bring in all that coffee and doughnuts on offer... who knows... this needs to be fixed, either have a van there that is dropping off the band drumkit, or amps being carried in, i feel that this scene needs some activity.

i agree with what blink said viz-a-vis the blockyness, you need to break this up with features such as windows or drain pipes.

Pixel, Im still adding things onto, well, everywhere.

Grey, In a edit I have already made the text problem is fixed. The unloading door if for unloading the drumset and amps and stuff. I still need to add the truck with the drums in the back.

Also, I am still adding stuff, so, ya. On the next post, there should be alot more detail stuff added. Thanks for yalls help.
