Hello, internet!
So I've been fiddling aboot with 64x64 images for avatar making, especially trying to get a range of value on a small image. Here's what I came up with:

Some sort of masked or possibly porcelain-faced curly-haired doll-a-ma-thing was the idea.
I'm sure there's a lot to change and improve and make not suck.
Any feedback would be welcome!

It looks like your using three gray colors but you have 14 gray colors.
You should work on adding contrast to the image so that you can see every color on every other color clearly from 100% zoom.

Look at your piece and compare to God_Is_Evil's avatar, similar kind of thing from a design and layout standpoint.

>>>
His piece uses clean pixels and precision placement of pixels. This piece of yours like all your pixelart uses very dirty lines and very random-ish placement of pixels. You really should work on improving this.
The reason is not to change you or your vision but in order for you art to be pixelart instead of some blend of oekaki with some pixelwork.
This will make you and your art better for it. Almost everything you make is creative and have visions to them. Its the techniques you need to work on.

E: Look at other's work you admire and ZOOM in to study.
