CHALLENGE: Fantasy Football

http://www.pixeljoint.com/p/1891.htm - Big Brother wants you to support your team in the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_FIFA_World_Cup - 2010 FIFA World Cup by entering this challenge!

Pixel a fantasy character or creature based on the uniform design and/or colors of your favorite country's team. For example, Spain could be a minotaur wearing red armor.

Use the template shown below and draw your character on the stand. Replace the "X" at the base of the stand with the team flag. Feel free to change the colors or edit the stand itself, just make sure the flag symbol is visible.

Canvas Size - Use this template:



Colors - Max 32. This includes the 14 already in the template.
Transparency - No.
Animation - Optional.

CHALLENGE RULES

  • Participants have until this upcoming Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) to /pixels/submit_icons.asp'>submit their entry (strict). Don't forget to check the 'Submit to weekly challenge' checkbox.
  • Only new pixels allowed.
  • Open to all members.
  • Posting WIPs in this thread or in new threads in the /forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=8'>WIP section is highly encouraged, but ONLY SUBMIT YOUR FINAL ART.

CHALLENGE JUDGING

  • Every Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) the previous week's entries are judged.
  • Every week a new voting poll will be posted for previous week's entries.
  • Winner announced the following week.

CHALLENGE PRIZES/GOODIES

  • Top three finishers will receive an award displayed in your PJ gallery profile for all to see and envy.
  • Top finisher gets to call the following week's challenge...sweet.
  • 'Participation' ribbons will be given for all who enter.
  • No matter what happens you get challenged :)

I have the same question.

( Fast did because he's small and I'm happy. Especially for the grass I usually completely fail. )

Yes, Mushroom Kingdom isn't an allowed contry.
But I don't know a lot about football, and I don't want to do favoritism. Can I do several version with several countries ?
(two of my origins and one I'm living in ?)

(And also non qualificated ones goes also ?)

I wasn't sure if I should remove or keep the 'fantasy football' writing, but it interacted badly with the head.

I have much trouble working at subpixel size and still "see" the proportions :/

Hi, everyone, here is my entry.

 
Curupira is a male supernatural being from Brazil's folklore.
It originates from the Tupi indian mithology and he usually takes the form of a boy with flaming hair and green teeth.
 
His most startling characteristic, however, is that his feet are turned to face backwards.
 
To protect the forest from the destructive habits of man, he tolerates those who hunt for food but is infuriated by those who hunt for the pleasure and will lay traps and confuse them so that they become eternally lost in the forest. His backward feet, for example, have the effect of confusing hunters who may try to follow his tracks.
In addition, he has a super speed, that human eye is unable to follow.
