What I basically did was drawing it on Photoshop Cs3 and rendered it as pixel art afterward.
Now I have to shade it and edit the shape a little bit.

While the lineart is very promising, I can't say that I care much for your method of shading: you seem to be pillowshading the muscles. Try to define a lightsource and shade the shape of the body accordingly.

It's mostly alright, but his head is too big SMALL and his forearms are too short. Also, don't start adding details until you've finished basic shading.

Edit: Sorry, I must have mistyped. I meant small.

Head too big? if it was any smaller it'd be insanely freakish. its on the -small- side as it is now. Forearms could be a bit longer though.

As for the shading, yeah, you need to stop that pillowshading on his torso especially. also, I'd get rid of that black outline between the shirt and his body. its clear that the shirt's pretty mashed against his body so getting rid of the black lines that separate them will emphasize it further.

yeah, that head is way too small- he could hold it in the palm of his hand. muscles on the arms should flow into and out of one another more than they do now, they work together and not independently. also the foot on our right looks like it's at a different angle from the other foot/rest of the body
