I'm new to pixel art, so expect nothing delicious))
So... i've made up my mind to go for animated 32x32 llama pic.
Hope it is simple enough to begin with.

Not animated yet (you can see "WIP" up there ^^).

Need some of your criticism. Especially concidering the basics of pixel art.

I just started myself but my only gripe is the legs.

there are a lot of things u could do with this..
im not sure where u wanna go  ( keep it more simplistic or not)....but if u want it to be more realistic u could add more shading, furry texture, aa,... etc....
u also dont have to make the legs just like sticks, ...discover the amazingness of subpixeling, and u can give them shape if if theyre only 1px wide

HOLY COW LLAMA!
onek, you are insane, man...
That is awesome!
I'm not really sure i want to go realistic anymore xD
Now i see it is something i cant cope with...
Well may be i can spend a day and make it look like something far away from your work. But i wont handle animating it for sure)))

Anyway, now i can see the goal to work for.
Thanks a lot!

^^ thx a lot guys! :D

How the hell did you manage put pack that much detail into there?

i donno,... im working on a old, blurry CRT monitor momentary... i think,  because the effect is much more visible, it really helps improving my aa and subpixeling skills
id recommend working on CRT's for sure .. pixelart can just look amazing...

I loved my Old crt, 17" up to 2048x1536, crystal clear. but i got rid of it for a triple lcd setup. I can't handle blurry CRTs tho. I NEED ME PIXELS.

/offtopic sorry

Finally animated)))
waiting for even more criticism...

I'm not trying to make it photo-realistic like onek did, cuz
i'm reading tutorials)))) I dont really get aa and all the stuff yet...
Today i was mainly reading photoshop pixel art tut by Hulio-G (that is awesome). I've begun with Pixen, but it crashes every single minute. So spending some time learning PS seems to be worth it.

his head/neck should move forward and down as his legs are kicked out
