So I had a couple ideas for the triptych challenge that's already come and gone, but I was too busy moving back into my dorm and getting ready for school to get them done in time to submit.
I really want to finish them anyways though, so I'm working on my first idea which was the 3 Stooges (this is still just a rough draft): 
So far it's been more challenging to work in black and white than I expected... It seems like there's always either too much contrast or not enough, so I guess I'm just going to have to take the time to improve the palette I've been working with. Crits and comments are welcome, of course! This is the image with the palette I've been working with.

I guess there probably isn't much else to say, except that it's kind of rough. I tweaked it a little bit more and then went ahead and submitted it because I think it's on the right track even if I'm struggling to refine it. Crits/comments are better late than never, BTW! |
