I take no credit for the design of Douglas.

This piece is for a three-week competition, in wich we make a GameBoy platform game. I may not alter the colours, since they are a restriction I must work with.
At the moment, I need crits for this one. I'd prefer some on the text, since it's been bugging me for a while now.

No, 2-bit is 4 colours. As you probably know, a bit can be 0 or 1. When something is 2-bit, you the following posssibilities:
00
11
01
10
Hence four colours.

The formula for number of colours would be bit². 4-bits would be 4² = 16.

EDIT: Hold on, the formula was 2^bits. Yes, that's it.

This kinda reminds me of the work of Jim Davis (Garfield guy).

I think the text suits the style and I'd focus more on jazzing up the background.
