i don't know what you do with it, but i think it's way too small (especially when it's iso) if you want to put pieces on it

well ur not gonna get anywhere if u dont try m8  keep it up! try making the pieces individually, then putting them on, u dont have to do all of them, make it look like its halfway through a game with not many pieces on the board, then have the rest just on the side coz they have been taken?

is it even the right dimensions? the setup goes:

Rook-knight-bishop-King-Queen-bishop-knight-rook, which is eight. You've got a 10 by 10 grid going. whoops.

It might be queen, then king, but that don't get to matter to me.

You should give it a marble-like kind of texture on the squares... That would help :P
