CHALLENGE: The Animalphabet ../../../../p/27498.htm - Gecimen wants you to pick a letter from the alphabet (say, F) and illustrate any animal or fantasy creature (eg. dragon, worm, cat) that bends or spread its limbs/wings/tails etc... to resemble that particular letter. CHALLENGE RULES

I think the challenge should be reworded so that the animal's name starts with that letter. Dragons make a D, Monkeys make an M, Snakes make an S, etc, etc... I think that'll give the challenge some much needed zing!  -------------  "pwnage comes with patience, practice and planning." ~ Jalonso

I think it basicly kills 99% of the possibilities. The idea is to have creatures in different and strange poses, possibly a font for a fantasy novel, so it doesn't have to have the "teaching notion" of a children's book. What do you guys say? @Jim16; is it a T? |

So i've done a bit more on my Gammerhead Shark...
Still going on it but i'd love some feedback or critiques please...! I'm thinking the dorsal fin (make that all the fins) needs more of a defined outline, as it's blending in to the underbelly of the second half of the shark. |

| Nope the fins are read quite well. With a transparent BG the lighter colored fins will be ok as well. |

| for the underbelly you can also make a semi-transparency with photoshop (reduce the opacity), but i don't know if it's allowed as a pixel-art x) |

I noted it in my comment on that but I wasn't completely sure if it was allowed or not, and no one else mentioned it there. |

I've been using MSpaint at the moment so I can't see what it'll look like with transparency, going to have to figure that one out before submission i guess! Thanks for the help guys :) |
