I like them a lot

They would look good with a camo effect paint work

wow...
That is amazing man...

See... it's stuff like this that makes me angry.
Pixeljoint should be a collaborative effort with some programming site.
Between the artists here... and some of the coding I have seen on the web...
We could be putting together some amazing independent games...

Those tanks are freaking amazing...
I am simply floored...

The only thing I would critique is the treads. They don't look wide enough...

Otherwise you coloring, your lineart... all of it...
Very clean, precise, and cool looking...

Way to go...

thx for the nice feedback :-) and JA schnell i have to add some neat latewarcamo!

hmm treads... not really sure wut u r talking bout m8 but the tracks were pretty smallsized --> my references

the tracks should be about 1/2 pixels wider, but thats not the biggest thing

sturmgeschützes were broad flat and lengthy machines. yours has different comparative sizes.

i suggest you make the turret part about 3/4th of the heigh it is now, and make the whole thing about.. 12-14 pixels longer and 2 or 4 pixels wider

allso, what makes these machines look distinct is the rounder shape of the cannon's base, so i'd suggest you use that shape instead of the square one from your 1st ref

and personally i like the cross on the green verson better

as for positives, this whole thing is very obviously a tank that packs a punch and shows lots of detail, while at the same time not being packed with useless tidbits

is this by any chance for a big project, or is it just ''random''?

Ah...
Sorry.
I believe I was wrong... According to the reference you use? The tracks are just about exact. Sorry... I served in the Marines... Our tanks had wider treads... chuckle, I assume all tanks followed a similar style... guess not!

Love em tho...

thx for this serious critique.

i agree about the turretpart, i will try to flat him down a little, but i like the general patternsize how it is --> the cannon is far away from being ready :-) and to be honest there were 4 different guns mounted in "stugs" incl. som 10.5cm assaultgun!

Thx god, Worldwar2 isnt a trademark - and yes it definitley will be a community-based game with companysized 1v1 battles.

but anyone interested is welcome to play around with the lineart i posted.
