Having a schnauzer of my own, I can easily be of help!
Very quick edit of mostly the head: 
You're relying too much on dithering and not enough on basic areas of defined volume -- sometimes less detail is more. Dithering adds graininess/texture, which is often unwanted and detracts from the piece. Notice how I created the volumes of the beard and eyebrows by pixeling them in the lighter green then surrounding them with the darker green. I don't know what you were going with with the palette, but I left it as-is. |
