13 colors so far... I was thinking about using a few greens and making it a 16 color image. But thought at this crucial point I'd post; to see if I should make it a bigger palette and make the sky with more shades. What do you think I should do?.. I've barely worked on the background as of now.. I want it to get darker in the foreground and fade into the semi-hazey distance. I'll be working on that tomorrow. Help me with some ideas.

Well I decided I'm going to go for a bigger palette since I'm not liking the dithering on the sky so far. I'll probably go for a 25 color palette. I was kind of hoping for some ideas or guidance since this is the first non-tiled background I've ever done in pixels... No response in 12 hours is'nt fast enough for me since I need to get back to it if I ever want to finish it.

the texture of the tree and the tree itself are very well done
but i dont like how he is floating in the air..
also the background is kin of messy
colors are way to dull and could need some work aswell...
overall quite nice, but i think u could dpo much more with it...
right now it loks flat
an important thing in alndscape/ scenery painting is to 'paint air'... its difficult to explain, but means to create the illusion of space...
heres a kind of unorthodox NPA edit

Thanks for the feedback I'll try to paint air.. I'll definitely need more colors to do so. I will definitely also brighten the color.s I like all of the palette changes of Cure's but I wonder if to get the mistiness I want if I should desaturate just a lil.
Oh yeah- I haven't started the foreground yet that's why it looks like it's floating right now. And I just scribbled the grass in like 2 minutes to get the colors down. alright.. thanks again for some ideas
your twos' edits are definitely more eye catching.. So we'll see what I can do.
I'm grateful for this
