I'd like to know if this would qualify :P
I was thinking more of a 'jaguar' sort of cat than the domestic type. Also I'll make the smoke coming out of its mouth! 
Also #2, are 64x64 avatars even allowed on pixeljoint? Thought the max size was 50x50 ;/ |

Didn't make anything yet but already enjoying that sci-fi cat :) I think you could add a bit more depth and hide one part in shadow so that it doesn't look so flat. Check it:

So I need to get a hat on the cat. I'm having trouble making it actually look like anything hat-like due to the small scale it has to be to fit on the cat's head. |

I made a bunch of palettes around the theme of blue/red/yellow. I think I spent more time playing with color than actually making anything.
 
 
A lot of things are taking up my time, like working on my 2400 square foot garden (I'm actually starting to get muscles, amazingly) and also house hunting so I can move, so if I have any time to work on this it'll probably be a last minute thing. x_x |

Got some line art and flat colors down. :) The pallete still needs some messing with, but it's onto the tough parts for now! Edit: Moar progress, still a lot to go.
