Hi there!

So I'm having this awesome idea to get myself a tattoo, in pixels. It's gonna be a small one, iconic to games (a heart or star or coin or something).

The idea was to get myself one of those icons, but the thing is, I want the surroundings to be my normal skin color, but also in pixels. So it looks like the skin arround my tattoo is also pixelized (like some sort of spreading disease lol).

Does anyone know if this is possible (will it look fake in comparison to my 'real' skin tone) and if it's hard to do for tattoo artists?

I hope you understand what I wanted; I'm off drawing it now, I'll check here every few minutes. Thanks in advance!

PS: Does anyone know a good symbol? I'd rather have something else than a star or heart. It has to be iconic to gaming. Thanks!

I think that this is on wrong forum section. If you want to some1 pixel an icon for example, then this should be at job offerings.

PS: oh, and if its going to be small it may be hard to tattoo, and if possible it will cost lot because of details.

It's not a job offer I was just asking for people's opinions on if it was possible or not. It's not too small of course but I just don't know what to put around it and if that's possible or smart to do.

Thanks though.

Actually this would go under diversions.

I understand what you're trying to say about the pixels surrounding
the image.. but I'm just having a hard time imagining it from what
you said. I guess it could work provided that the artist (don't know
if tattooists mix colours or what) can find your skin colour specifically
and then anti alias it with the colours of the image.

If you're not shure, I'd suggest not doing it and making something else instead: like t-shirt or something - if you'll not like it or get bored with it you can change it and tattoo will hang on you for the whole life (in case erasing operation will fail).
