Greetings everyone. I've done some pixel art for a while, but have gotten more serious about it recently. Currently, I'm working this piece here:

And here's a mockup of it put to use.

Anyway, any critique is welcome.

That looks pretty nice, I like the style! Way better than what I can do, so not much to critique. But good work!

Hey, its hard to judge your preview image because you have enlarged it and it is a jpg, (the forum has an enlarge feature built in simply click an image to enlarge it).. and jpg's reduce the quality of an image, the result is somewhat blurry and therefor hard to asses where problems may lie in order to give you constructive feedback.

Sorry about that.

Updated my first post with my current work and a new mock up.

Hey, so its looking good, im not a big fan of the tiles with long grass on them, i think they are too big in proportion to the rest of the tiles, grass is nearly as big as a small tree, where your flowers are tiny and fit in well.

Hmm.. I don't know about the grass. I might see if I can come up with something better later.

First post updated. I'm currently working on cliffs. :)

I think your cliffs need to be darker, or a different colour all together. Right now they blend into the dirt a bit too much.

I quite like the soft plaything look this set has got to it, makes me smile.

Updated my first post with my recent work.

I got some new things such as wooden bridges, rivers, fixed up trees with their own palette, and other small tweaks.

I still haven't done them cliffs. = =

still complaining about them grass blades, the ones in the sand look great, but the large blades on the grass tile still look wrong to me. i think those rocks are almost there but could use some fiddling about.

im also seeing some banding on the shoreline with the water.

Updated the original post with my recent work. Them cliffs took two nights and three tries, but I finally got them right. Right?

Also I'll see if I can come up with something better for them grass blades Artisan. Promise!

Heya. Just another update.

I've been going back and fixing up things. I completely redid trees differently as well.

Hehe, the trees make me think of 1up-shrooms
. They don't differ enough from the grass me thinks, they are hard to separate.
The cliffs look a looooot better for sure.

It might be a good idea to leave your past renditions up, so we can see what has changed.

My first post might get huge, haha..

Updated with a few small changes and a larger (unfinished) mockup.

I need to do ramps, bushes, and waterfalls next I think.
