i wasn't pixeling a long time, but in the last time i got very much inspiration from various games/experiences/videos/pictures that i had to start to pixel again. i'll keep my ideas for me but i have a serious problem. when i started i wanted to make my creation steampunk-style, and many of my ideas are about that theme. but when i look at what i've done so far, my new pixelart could get the style of the fifties in a futuristic way (like the style of the videogame fallout new vegas) as well. both futuristic fifties and steampunk are themes i'd like for it, but i have problems with my decision. steampunk means for me (of course) steam engines, propellors, bolt weaponery, and much iron, gold and copper, sometimes wood and stone (for buildings). futuristic fifties means for me atomic energy, iron and steel, laser-/plasma-/tesla-weaponery, rockets and so on. here some pics:
