This animation looked like it came from the tutorial with that peasant guy
who has a sword and shield or none. My first tip would be do NOT follow
those kinds of tutorials. That is straight through animation, which will
only make what you're trying to do incredibly difficult. If you're animating
something with a cycle, you DEFINITELY do key framed animation. So my
tip for you is take another look on Google or something for keyframes of
a walk animation. Contact, recoil/down, passing point, up/high point, contact.

I just want to reiterate the animation you tried is purely guess work.
Sorry I didn't teach you, but I'm very busy right now.

Thanks for the reply! and sorry for the late respones. I did see that tutorial, and used it. I dont really like how the legs turned out sso i was planning on giving them a complete overhaul, although im going to still try to use the full 8-frames. what i dont really like is how the arms look just weird, swinging away with bad timing =(. Ill be sure to keep up my practice with this animation. Ill look up another tutorial. Thanks!

Frames 5 and 6 makes it look like the player is walking at an angle and not side on, the shoulder also I think could be moved into the body. I think it looks alright apart from that. I am guessing it is a side on walking animation due to the eye position.

Thanks for the arm tips, ill fix the arms after the legs. I see what your saying, i reworked them about a little bit. I did every other frame over, and adjusted them due to the keyframes.

UPDATE:
How is the first leg?
