you got lots of good replies/edits on your "characterwip" thread, my advice would be to study those edits further and figure out what makes them work so well. the ship in your other thread is too simple to say anything about, really. regardless of the feedback you receive, what I see as your biggest hurdle is that you lack proper training in the fundamentals, as well as understanding of the subjects you're depicting. Studying human anatomy and working daily on the fundamentals of art (shading basic three dimensional forms, drawing from life, learning about color theory/line weight/ etc) would be the most helpful thing to do at this point. |

See the thing is I want to be a game designer and well I'm right now at an amateurish point. Learning art didn't work for me because I've tried a lot and I can't draw well.
So I'm just trying to have some skills like doing pixel art here. I know it helps but trust me it didn't work out well. I'll post my stuff at the character thread. |
