(Image is scaled 200% so it's easier to see)
So this is my first real attempt at making some pixel art and so far I'm pleased which has me motivated, but I'm feeling like I could use some feedback, especially on the shading.

Specifically, I'm not sure if I've done a good job bringing attention to the relaxing guy's arm. I tried some lighting on the under part of his arm, but I'm not sure it looks good.

Also, I feel like the light source would only touch the side of the palm tree that you can't see, but I find it looks odd without light on it.

Any feedback would be great! :D

Good job, I like it,
to light on these small details can not much bother.
And on the form must be oboratit more attention and spend more time.

Not a beautiful tree, I have to keep in mind, its leaves, make them more like other palm leaves.
But do not overdo it with much of detail them, man lying on a chaise lounge to attract more attention than the diversity of palm leaves.
Background white ...

I would crop everything around the man and the tree and concentrate on refining them. Yuran gives good advises.
