I am currently working on a 3/4th perspective walkcycle and would like some critique. I am at this current stage after some c & c from another forum.

on the frame where the feet are together they should be closer together.  Otherwise looks fine but its kind of stiff.

Thank you for taking the time to comment; I will be posting a revised version soon.

bump a thread with updates, not promises of updates.

the head looks a little stiff, a full head bob might be a little much, but some subpixel movement might help.

I wasn't really doing that just to promise an update; I feel that you guys are wasting time that you could spend on working on your own peices to comment on mine and felt that deserved some grattitude. So thank you to you as well cure and here is an updated version:

The overall "stiffness" of the whole piece is getting to me. on the together frame in all honesty the character looks a bit like a soldier. Any tips as to how I could make him look a bit more relaxed?

Hellooo!

The thing that I saw first was the X shape of legs - http://rudocs.exdat.com/pars_docs/tw_refs/35/34139/34139_html_36b68f1a.png - informative link (1- normal, 2- X-shaped, 3 - O-shaped) and then I thought that the leg went way too much back - one more http://www.posemaniacs.com/archives/601 - informative link . Also if he walks in that perspective I think that legs will never stand in one line and arms gotta be one shorter and one longer.
I did kinda rough edit of your image (I hope you won't find this offensive) to illustrate my thoughts

Thats it! lol Do more research and watch more animations and you'll make it work! I'm struggling with animation as well :)
