Hello. I am looking for some feedback on my tile-set. The palette it on the right I am using 16 different gray colors. Also the blue is the transparency color. And red is used to separate 16 by 16 tiles for convenience of editing. The tile-sheet is on the left. There is grass, ground, hero with 2 animations, log, long_grass, and tree.

Nice to meet you, Black_darkness

Really nice, it has an Earthbound/Pokemon feel to it.
The only thing I'd say is make sure all the sprite pieces achieve the same level of detail, right now the cabbage (?) in the last two pictures look to crisp compared to everything else.

First thing i think you need to decide on is the light source. As this isn't overly apparent on any of the tiles.
You also have clashing styles. If your going to use black outlines on somethings, you kind of want to use them on all things.
Also, when mapping try not to make things so large unless you plan on filling them with sprites. Believe it or not, but walking around in huge open areas is not generally that thrilling when it comes to pixelart games.
One of the biggest issue is that all your tiles lack contrast.
------------- The world is but a shadow of emotion, cast in shades of grey.
