Ok, so my idea was for as many people as possible to make a collaboration of self-portraits. The squares are just the frame base, so try make your own unique frame. I gave you extra room around the fram so your portrait can pop-out
more. Just toss in your either self-portrait or a portrait of your

| Wow, very nice idea. Only problem is, that talented pixelartist are often too buzy for such a thing, and untalnted artists can't do viewable self-portraits. I think I belong to the second group, so I'll give it a shot and see if it is viewable or not... |

I like the idea and the simplicity of the template is great, but I would suggest changing the logo in the middle to the "pixel joint" logo used on the main site. Hopefully I can find some time to pixel a portrait. |

The logo is just a temp. since I tossed this whole template together in like... 5 minutes. So yeah, I'll make the fram template and reservation system. -------------

Hmm, no custom frames? I like the wallpaper idea, I'll add that to it soon. I just have the two colors up there so the artist knows his limitation. Fixed the first post all up. -------------

Even better, how about a yearbook? We could do a Class of '05 for all the members from last year. I'm sure Sedge could set up some room on the site to showcase it off properly. The templaye would pretty much stay the same:
And a page could look like this:
or be layed out differently on each page, allowing for those candid class pictures of shop class (or pixel class you'd call it). This would give some of the more eager members to elaborate on it some more and maybe pixel their interpretations of other members. Backgrounds could be created for each page so as to not have a boring white colour like the one above Anyways, I'm not knocking the original idea, because I do think it's awesome... just thought I'd throw this out as well. ------------- |

The template is just a template, so basically your own frame. I like PB's idea, having it like a yearbook, I'll see what I can make for it. I'll also fix everyone's reservations. And yes, snader and shark. You may have two squares merdged. It would be very cool if the characters interacted with eachother. Know what I mean? -------------

Umm, I'm not sure... Once again it all depends on if sedge could do PB's idea to make it a page. Because then each portrait would be its own picture. From now on if you want to reserve something simply edit it and add your name. I'll update it when I check in. -------------

Thanks, dude...your pic is sweet, too! Nice sense of proportion and nice graphic style. For mine, I just worked fom a photo, and analyzed the tonal areas. I printed the pic out as a b/w image, so I could see lights and darks better. Then I pixelled a low colour version, blocking in large tone areas, then just dithered and added intermediary tones...it took about two and a half hours to finish. I did take some liberties with it, though. My hair's blond now, but the brown worked better, since I could reuse the colours in the face and coat...my hair's naturally that colour, anyways. |

Well, heres mine. I was pretty impressed out how it came out. I used those tips you suggested nvision and it really helped! I got a picture of myself and then concentrated on the shadows. ------------- www.aphoticpixel.com |

Um, i think in Hishnak's post the colours of the yearbook seem to have changed and the background image's quality has been reduced, might be something to do with how many colours it was set to when it was saved... oh yeah, and i've been taken out, but hey >.< This is tough, i've done a few drafts but i cant seem to get it right. ------------- http://larw-ck.deviantart.com">

ok the image is a placeholder, your image and quote and name must
