Hi all, I'm new to pixel art and this forum so don't be too harsh! I was looking for some CC on this piece I have been working on. *Do you prefer the left or the right? *How should I shade the top? *Does the light source look un-natural? Thanks! |

Hi Ocillo, I prefer the left, but the dithering is very distracting. Perhaps do less vertical lines, like one every 4 or 5 pixels instead of every 2. Right now I have no clue what the top is supposed to be. How does it look like from top or from the other side? ------------- |

Thanks for your responses, I think was trying to draw from a weird perspective and thats why I'm struggling. This is the shape from the front: 
(I left the dithering out on the middle because I still haven't worked out how to draw it yet) |
