CHALLENGE: Wish You Were Here

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Storm_Thorgerson - Storm Thorgerson died recently. This week you are challenged with reinterpreting one of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Storm_Thorgerson#Album_cover_designs - his covers .

Canvas Size - Unrestricted, but it must be exactly square.
Colours - Max 24.
Transparency - No.
Animation - No.

Please mention which album cover you have interpreted in the description.

CHALLENGE RULES

  • Participants have until this upcoming Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) to /pixels/submit_icons.asp - submit their entry (strict). Don't forget to check the 'Submit to weekly challenge' checkbox.
  • Only new pixels allowed.
  • Open to all members.
  • Posting WIPs in this thread or in new threads in the /forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=8 - WIP section is highly encouraged, but ONLY SUBMIT YOUR FINAL ART.

CHALLENGE JUDGING

  • Every Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) the previous week's entries are judged.
  • Every week a new voting poll will be posted for previous week's entries.
  • Winner announced the following week.

CHALLENGE PRIZES/GOODIES

  • Top three finishers will receive an award displayed in your PJ gallery profile for all to see and envy.
  • Top finisher gets to call the following week's challenge...sweet.
  • 'Participation' ribbons will be given for all who enter.
  • No matter what happens you get challenged :)

Don't just say that, post whatever you make, this way you will practice, and hey at least you'll get a participation ribbon.

Here's mine so far. Pink Floyd's Animals. Decided to mock up a SHMUP because of the flying pig in the cover.

I'm doing Pendulum's Immersion. The plan is to have a giant jellyfish in the middle instead of two people. Also I know this is a bad way to work but it's actually going quite well for me.

Hi people, I tried some lighting and shadings, I'm not sure how I feel about the rock.

Any suggestions? Please?

I'd say you could use a bit your yellow or skin color on the rock to give the impression it's lighted.
