Okay so I am helping my friend with a project. I've already completed lots of assets for it.

I am not good with human anatomies and stuff and so I need help...

Here's the Human Base

Here's the Mockup of a Bar:

Help me fix the Human base

Also, help me with my other topic as well...I need help with that too D:

The base looks fine and when dressed any anatomical flaw will not be seen. The only thing that looks off are the ears.

The tiles are very low in contrast and if the base is for this then the scale is way off.

I see what you mean..I'll lower the contrast but the Base seems to be of much bigger problem now...I'll either have to redo all of this(bar items) or just make the base of bigger size which I am sure about. WHat shall be it's size?

lower the contrast on the wood floor, its creating alot of noise.  The wood grain should be secondary to the dividing lines too, I think.  I would also consider alternating every other floor tile, having a second floor tile in which you ommit the vertical dividing lines.  That way you can have longer planks of wood.  Puts some drop shadows on the floor too, to help ground the objects, and also seperate the floor from the objects better.  You could also give the wood objects a slightly different hue from the floor.  Dont have to change the whole color ramp though, changing 1 or 2 colors might help though.  Based on the width of the stool, and height of the bar, looks like the character ought to be about 48x64.

Just put the base on top of the objects you have and see if he has a realistic size! Right now he can't sit comfortably on the stools or look over the bar, its up to you to find out what is the required size for this!

Had to remake everything. I had made a mistake of making the items first instead of making the base. Well learnt from the mistake at least.

I made the base first and tried to make everything in proportion:

If all seems good now, I am going to move on to animating the base :)

Much better scale.

• The floor planks are quite wide and gives an out of scale appearance or is simply not visually satisfying. Most floor planks in real life are about the width of a human foot. That may be too thin so maybe half what you have?

• If there is no color restriction I would make the wooden items slightly different in color. Not all furniture is made from the same wood at the same time. It would add visual interest too. Overall its monochromatic.

• The bar should overlap the floor into the wall like the shelves do so it has height. Even if just on one side leaving the other side as an entrance.

Building on jalonso's second point above, here's a color edit of your current pic (with a shadow for the human sprite added for good measure):

Forgive me if it doesn't look great; I still have a long ways to go when it comes to color theory/ramps/palettes/etc. Just wanted to kinda give you an idea of what jalonso meant with his second bit of advice for you, OP.

Oh man this palette thingy is killing me! Arranging and trying to reuse colors and shifting hues is just too difficult. I am glad though this is going to help me out and lead me to improvisation!

@Jalonso Does this texture for wooden table work? I also reduced the size of planks and tried to shift palette but its not helping much.

@Stone Thanks for help mate, I just complete forgot about shadows...I'll add em later though.

Oh, that's much better in colors and the floor planks look better too :)

I will mention that all lines are horizontal. Either the floor or the furniture lines could be vertical just to break things up.

btw, I failed to mention before that the barstools on the bar are not reading as barstools. I think they need to be lowered a few pixels so they read better.
