Hello, i'm new to this site (and pixel art) here is a simple shooting animation should i add a background? should i add anything else?  |

I see it... looks pretty smooth as far as the animation goes. Put a background in though and see what that does to make it gel better ------------- |

i finally got some time to make a background. here is what i have so far…   the sidewalks are different, thats why i posted 2. i dont know which 1 i should use. |

alright here it is the new background  i didnt want to go too much into detail because i wanted to keep it somewhat simple like the character |

I made a quick paintover of your BG:
I have: -shaded all of the bricks -made some bricks lighter to break the monotomy Hope that helps you. EDIT: oh, and I used the same colors you did. ------------- Reaching out to embrace the random. I was actually goin for the plain look to match up with the character but now that i see your bg next to mine i like yours alot better. thanks!! i might edit it further and add a couple of cracks, maybe somethin more… |

Whoa Ghrey that turned out absolutely hot! (and it somehow fits to your nick now that I think about it  ) Please edit the street light though it doesn't look so good right now. Give it the same minimalism (or maybe cubistic would fit better here = reducing something to geometric shapes) look as the character. And if you wanna go very crazy you could take the street light as light source into consideration when you light/shade the sidewalks
