Looks good so far, nothing really to "put down". :)

Just something that could give more depth, the underground tiles being darker, just to show that its clearly underground, and make this nice cut between what's the ground level and what's underground.

I can see that the clouds are obviously still very WIP, so there's no point in talking about them right now.

Something I forgot to mention about the underground/ground thingy. It can help making the sky lighter than it is now just to make the distinction even more visible.

it turns out the game wont feature the underground thingy, thats why i didnt really "finish" it...

Im afraid there wont be any pipes :(
Unless they are floating in midair, and I haven't seen many of those lately :P
But I'm working on WAAAY cooler floating platforms.

Right now brainstorming ideas, for cool platforms.
going to update them further. Later I will be working on animations for platforms and player. Tweak some colors and add a decent background.

You should add some lighting being emitted from the fire.

And if possible, have multiple fire animations (or make one animation and make it start at different times for each fire).

Perhaps a transition of some purple, to the sky, with the fire would be nice.

my programmer left me without saying a word :/
in fact he left before even making a demo or whatever.
So I'm restarting the project on my own.
rightnow working on cool tiles and making a mockup

Looking real good. My only crit is outlining the fire especially when nothing else is.

Very nice game design.. I like the palette.
I agree about the flames.. and as Night said about the glowing onto the platforms.

Looks cool! Like a medieval megaman or something, it has a technolgic castle vibe to it. I am sort've confused what the knights face looks like though, his helmet features I can't quite make out.
