Hello guys,

As you've all noticed I have not been able to get up the wiki yet. This has been stopping all of the development of the project and that is a pity.

My timetable has dramatically changed and it is going to take a while before I can do some serious action, but over the last few weeks I've been getting a couple of emails that reminded me that the project has to survive.

What needs to be done in order to reboot?

Bart from OGA hosted a http://opp.opengameart.org - new wiki, but it is all empty. The old database is considered useless, so all the pages have to be recreated manually.

If anyone would be willing to put up some files and pages, similar to the old wiki, that would be a great help. In order to do so I uploaded the old wiki files http://mega.co.nz/#!9FdjHRwD!M7biilCMat-f7xwiNnsH9kVf-t0X-qZ-_7Cw5lhjOXc - HERE

Behind the screens there are still people with interest in the project. We have support from OGA, from DDR & frogatto engine, some independend developers showed interest and even made demos with the assets and of course over 20 talented artists have contributed and shown interest in the project!

So, after I come back from my vacation (yes, I have time to write now finally since I am traveling around atm) priority is to get up that wiki. All the help, now or then is appreciated. <3

Good to see that this project isn't dead!

I'm still working on my own project to run a game on all devices / desktops using OPP images (or entirely your own images)

I've continued working on character animations, albeit in a slower capacity. I've been meaning to post the progress here this past week but I haven't had a chance. I'd like to touch up what I've been working on a bit more before posting it, so hopefully I'll have the time to finish it up and get everything posted this weekend. Once finished, I'm also more than happy to help rebuilding the wiki as well.

Edit: Also, the link to the wiki files appears to be broken.

I can't seem to upload images on the wiki:
Here's the error if it helps.

Sorry it took so long to fix! I don't have direct control over the wiki any more, which makes that it takes a bit longer but at least I did not need to fix it myself then.

File upload is working, and http://opp.opengameart.org/index.php/Special:ListFiles - ALL FILES ARE NOW ONLINE :D

In case someone cares: I have spend a bit of my holiday to recreate the wiki.

Check out for example http://opp.opengameart.org/index.php/Jungle_tiles - http://opp.opengameart.org/index.php/Jungle_tiles , it contains also an updated terrain set with some new tile combinations and tiles that were missing in previous versions.

Help with organising the wiki is welcome as always ;)
