So I made an entry for the challenge "The Desert level", named http://www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/82287.htm - Megaman bootleg . I made sure I submitted it to the challenge. The voting has started, but there's one problem; my submitted challenge entry is not in the poll. I haven't received any sort of notification of my entry not making it into the poll. I'm pretty sure that kind of thing never happens. What happened? Was my entry not good enough?
If it was removed manually, I don't know why because I'm pretty sure it met all the requirements (colors, no transparency, and the desert theme). I really need to be told what happened since I don't know if something was wrong or it was a mistake... |

We try to catch any error but one can't depend on this from us because occasionally one slips thru like your did.
When submitting to a challenge you must check the 'weekly challenge' button to enter when submitting the pixel. You failed to do that :(  ------------- |

That sucks :( I was 100% sure I checked that... I just remember seeing it as one of the entry submissions. There's even a comment mentioning the challenge whilst the description doesn't even mention it. Maybe something went wrong and got "un-added"? Or maybe my memory is so faulty, I might have as well actually forgotten to do that despite the fact that I remember doing it... Okay, that was kinda confusing (for me).
I think I could go ask the poster of the comment if they remember seeing my entry as a submitted entry, since I have the feeling it might have been a bug that caused to mark my entry as "un-submitted" or something. Well, there was an unfinished "entry" among the submissions so mine must've been removed by mistake when removing the unfinished one... but that's just a hunch. Thanks for letting me know, though. Darn, I didn't realize I posted in the wrong forum... I though of posting in this one but then changed my mind for some reason. |

There is no way to 'uncheck' if you did so.
Just because someone commented or posted doesn't mean anything unless it was a Mod? I'm sorry about this having had happened to you. Had it been removed by a Mod it would show it as inactive and its not. It is very important to also understand that you did not follow the rules and are ineligible for this challenge regardless. The rules call for 'a mock-up of an original video game showing a screen from a desert level.' Yes, your mockup is an original but it uses an existing character from a game and thus is not an original video game. ------------- |
