Hello,

I am a Software-Developer and part of a Group developing a Shmup/Shoot 'em Up for SEGA Megadrive/Genesis.

If you think of Games such as dodonpachi, Gradius, R-Type, Truxton/tatsujin then you'll have an Idea as to what sort of Genre we are working on.

We have Software Tools for the Megadrive and the Game-Code covered, we also have the GUI based Level-Editor covered too on the Software side.  We have two Conceptual-Artists and I lend a hand on the Art too.
We are in need of interested Pixel-Artists with an interest in the following:

1. Science-Fiction/Mecha/Industrial Imagery.
2. Steampunk.
3. Horror.

We wish to recruit Pixel-Artists to develop Pixel-Artwork for the following:

1. Enemy Design, Player Ship Design, Weapon Design.
2. Level Design.
3. Character and Enemy Cut-Scenes and Introduction.

The Technology used in the Game is not actually strictly Steampunk but uses an alternate Form of Technology.

The Project has been developed over the last couple of years and as such has quite a bit of design work completed but lacks any Pixel work whatsoever.  We have Documents, Designs and Sketches, three Levels out of a projected seven are at the development stage and they all lack Pixel-Art.

If you have the Time and Interest then we could work this out as either Commissioned Work or you could work on the Game Project for free in order to work on your Portfolio.

Let me know if you are interested and what sort of Design Work you would prefer to work on and we can arrange further.

Regards,

Minty.
