I have been trying to finish this for maybe 2 weeks. Not that I work a lot on this but I can't come up with a good idea to finish this thing. Specifically I'm looking for a layer in front of the sky but behind everything else. Since the foreground layers are a reddish brown and the sky is blue I thought about a purple thing. But that's just an idea it didn't worked out well so far :(  As objects I thought of a ruined city...
If you do have any idea what might fit here please go ahead. If it could be an edit that would be great. Also if you got any crits improvements for the rest that would be welcome too. It's really the first time that I got such a mental block with a pic. Stupid this...

You've got a great start so far.  What could go in back?

The way the setting is so far it looks like your highlighting the left gap in the sky.  Hmmm... can't think of anything. I've never been very good at composing landscapes.

I'd think that receding layers of cliff would look decent. Just make them fade into a flat-ish horison.
