Hello all!
I am currently trying to write a paper on pixel art as a current art movement, tracing its history and evolution.
I came across a website the other day which was about two different trends within pixel-art, one being the aim of cramming as much information (different elements) into a set area, and the other trend being more minimalist in style and content, leaving a lot of "empty"/unused space. I've been racking through my browser's history and I can't seem to find it again. Could someone please help? Also, any other resources and/or direction would be appreciated regarding pixel-art at large. Thanks alot!

nevermind! found it =) i read it in a pdf file I had read (no fun when writing a paper and you need a reference then can't find it ..) and the labels I was looking for were simply : Optimalism and Reductivism
