The last ones taken mostly from a character template from eB!

I really like your style, and I can't wait to see the roof shaded, but it doesn't look quite right to me. Maybe the angle is wrong, or maybe not. Jalonso would probably be the most helpful person here for that; isometric isn't my area of expertise.

Edit: It also seems your lightsource is flying all over. Instead of simply mirroring the castle walls, be sure to update them to account for lighting changes too. Decide on the direction most of the stuff fits with, and fix the rest.

Your texturing for wood, grass and sand are all the same. It's not natural looking at all, especially with the use of black lines. Less colors, more contrast, and hand placing the pixels more carefully would really benefit your textures.

both blick and doommonkey adress issues in this, but i have some things to add.

on the roof the perspective is obviously off when looking at just the lines. he top ''horizontal'' line is 4-4-4-4-4 instead os the wall's 2-2-2-2-2, same on the lower edge of the roof. would be reasonably easy to fix methinks.

the grass could be more realistical by using lots of 2-3 pixel high strands instead of lots of crosses/spraycan-esque stuff. sand would be fixed by just upping the contrast a bit i think.

i don't know if the blue stuff is supposed to be water or stone tiles, but i'm guessing the first. in which case i'd say it lacks depth and sparkles, some waves too perhaps

the well and loose rocks could get an up on contrast too. and lastly, your blue dude's hair blends a bith with his hoodie& clothes.

now don't take this as me saying it'd bad or anything. it's better then a lot of people do before asking for C&C, but i just want to point out errors to you before you have made more work containing the same...

and for the record, the textures on the crates and the houses are <3

I will reserve comments for a later update cause all good points have been addressed. It does look great (except for the bricks.)

Thanks Guys for the Input ..

Yeah the roof is slightly angled down on the top as you go backwards .. kinda my bad for staying awake too long and not concentrating.. and the castle parts I've decided to take out as the parts you see of any castle are completly different >.<

Your texturing for wood, grass and sand are all the same. It's not natural looking at all, especially with the use of black lines. Less colors, more contrast, and hand placing the pixels more carefully would really benefit your textures.

The one time I used anything apart from my hand to do textures was using a noise filter to enhance the sand .. which could probably use more contrast anyway.  Other then that ..  I have no idea what black lines your talking about ..

the grass could be more realistical by using lots of 2-3 pixel high strands instead of lots of crosses/spraycan-esque stuff. sand would be fixed by just upping the contrast a bit i think.

Thanks for that .. I was thinking of having another tile with longer grass for wild monsters to run around in aka Pokemon Style :D

Yeah .. I had a tut from Enterbrains site .. but basically water just annoys me .. not only that .. but I somehow have to make it move :O.

Thanks for the help links on both those.

the well and loose rocks could get an up on contrast too. and lastly, your blue dude's hair blends a bith with his hoodie& clothes.

I'm thinking of taking the rock out .. but thanks on the well.  As far as the little blue dude .. its meant to be a knight .. and thats his helm and Visor ..

^^ Ninja Knight and a Mage .. Perfect RPG players ^^

--> http://artpad.art.com/gallery/?ivsts25010o - MouseDrawn Concept As proof artpad works ^_^

OK .. I'm taking the castle tile out and updated the Farm with a half assed attempt at the roof .. I realise the outline sticks out a little and the shading goes to far up on the back joining part .. but you can also comment on the lower trees .. the one next to the house sadley has died but wasn't deleted >:D

Thanks again for the comments ..

You're very good at artpad :D

About the mage, I tink it would be better if there were a skin row between her left eye and her hairs.
